History

Scandinavian Airport and Road Systems AB (SARSYS) was founded 1998. The company is a direct successor of Safegate AB and before that SAAB Automobil AB. Some of the founders of the company were the team which had worked in SAAB with friction testers for many years.
The company started with the design of SARSYS Friction Tester, build in SAAB 9-5, in cooperation with SAAB Automobil AB. In 2003 the SARSYS Trailer Friction Tester was ready for the market. The first and only trailer with build-in water tank and made in stainless/acid proof steel and aluminum
Over the years SARSYS has been a major player in the friction testing business worldwide and with the new developments we will continue and reinforce our place in the market
